Newborn Homestory Sessions are a beautiful way to capture the first days of your baby´s life in the unique setting of your own home. These sessions typically last 1.5 to 2 hours, giving us plenty of time to document both gently guided portraits and natural, candid moments of your family.
My style is all about natural and authentic images, so a lot of interaction between you and your baby will bring your session to life. I love to capture you snuggled on the sofa, or on your bed, with lots of eye contact and interaction between you. I bring along a few simple, neutral-toned accessories such as blankets and a basket, ensuring we create beautiful portraits of your newborn without overwhelming the simplicity of the moment.

Step One
To book a Newborn Homestory, contact me through my website to secure a session. I will send you a booking form to confirm your session. We can talk through E-Mail, WhatsApp or telephone to plan your session. I love to know what your hopes and visions are for your session. I will also send you my Newborn Homestory Guide, to help you prepare for your session in the comfort of your own home.
Step Two
Your date is only finalised when baby arrives. Please contact me a day or two after the arrival of your tiny wonder so that we can determine a date - ideally within the first 14 days of your baby´s life.
Step Three
Photoshooting. I will spend up to 2 hours with you in your home, capturing the moments that make those first few days so special. I will bring some blankets and props with me to ensure we also get some beautiful portraits of baby, as well as capturing the connection and raw emotion that a newborn brings.
Step Four
Soon after the session I will send you an online gallery via E-Mail, where you can select your favourite images, depending on the package you have booked. I will do final editing on the selected images and then send you another E-Mail when your gallery is ready to download.
FAQ
When should we book our Newborn Homestory session?
You can book your Newborn Homestory session anytime after the 24th week of pregnancy. All you need to do is let me know your due date and once baby is here we will find a date together, ideally within the first 14 days of baby being born.
How long does a Newborn Homestory session last?
On average 1.5-2 hours but the needs of your baby are a priority so if they need longer for feeding breaks and changing that´s no problem.
How old should my baby be for a Newborn Homestory photoshoot?
Babies are at their most sleepy within the first 14 days of being born. But Newborn Homestory Sessions are suitable for babies up until the age of 3 months old.
What should we wear for our Newborn Homestory Session?
A neutral and light coloured pallet works well for newborn sessions. Think creams, beiges, whites and soft pastel colours like mint greens, pinks and grey. More information on what to wear will be included in the Newborn Homestory Guide which I send you once your booking is confirmed.
Can we buy more pictures than what is included in our package?
Yes. extra images can be purchased for €20 per image or a package upgrade can be made at any time.
